A Streetcar Named Desire, October 13th-29th
“A Streetcar Named Desire,” among the most omnipresent plays in pop culture, turns 70 this year. Pivotal performances and homage have placed — and kept — the Pulitzer Prize-winning Tennessee Williams drama on the map.
The Lauren-Reilly Eliot company will be bringing this American classic to life this fall at Cité des Arts. Directed by Cooper Helm, LRE has assembled an all-star cast, featuring veteran actors Katryn Schmidt as Blanche Dubois and Andrew Lee Vincent as Stanley Kowalski. Making their LRE debut is Alexis Brigitte Langlois as Stella and Trevor Chapman as Mitch.
The show will run at Cité des Arts October 13th-29th. Fridays and Saturdays @ 7:30 and Sunday matinees @ 2 pm. Tickets are $20.00 (including tax) and can be purchased below.
The opening night performance will be a fundraiser hosted by The Stagebackers. Tickets are $40.00 and include dinner before the show and an after-party with the cast, with free champagne and an assortment of cheeses and chocolates.
