About The Event
Calling all ladies and drag queens! Auditions are coming up for our next play. Synopsis: Welcome to The Luna Del Mar Manufactured Home Oasis. Set in the 1980's, radio hostesses, Vesta and Dixie bring to you the comings and goings of this trailer park and what a jumping place it is - from roving reporters, beauty pageants, love advice and petitions to a drive-by nativity that is celebrating the kings, Jesus and Elvis. These ladies may be big personalities but underneath we see their vulnerability and need to belong. The wonderful Sandra Broussard will be directing, and auditions will be held on March 16 from 1-4 pm. Auditions will consist of cold reads from the play.
